Doctoral Studies

The Department of Film, Television and Scenography offers Doctoral studies in the research area of motion picture, television and production design.

The doctoral degrees done at the Department can entail one or more practical productions which have to be in a dialogical relation to theoretical questioning.

Doctoral studies offered by ELO give the candidate tools to combine theoretical, practical and artistic thinking through the candidate's own research question.

Doctoral Studies at ELO

Applying for Doctoral studies can be done twice a year. The deadline for applying is either the 15th of March or the 15th of September.
